Allens Photographic is an oasis of creativity

Ralph and Mary Jo Allen both hold the coveted Master of Photography degree and Photographic Craftsman degree from the Professional Photographers of America.

  Together they are the only husband and wife team in the state to have both earned the Master of Photography degree.  Both have been honored numerous times in the annual Professional Photographers of America print competitons and both have had photographs selected for display at the Epcot Center.

Mary Jo received the title of Photographer of the Year from the Professional Photographers of America for 2010.

About the Studio

"Allens Photographic has got to be one of the most unique places

around to have your portrait made."

  The studio is set on an acre in Lake Forest Park with photographic scenes around every turn.  From the trees and ferns to the split rail fence and the Southwest Wall; variety is the name of the game.

  The indoor studio is bright and cheery with a gigantic North light window for soft natural light portraits.  Of course classical portraits are available also.
